Kim Bociek, A.P., is a board-certified acupuncture physician. She has been a Sarasota resident since 1996 who has suffered from disabling pain for years and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After exhausting Western medical treatment, she turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. And now, Kim is living drug- and pain-free. The personal experience she experienced gave her a unique understanding of the physical, mental, and financial toll an illness can take.
A native of Massachusetts, Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her medical education continued at the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota, where she received her Master's degree in Oriental Medicine. Kim is a Florida Board and National Certified Acupuncture Physician. With over 18 years of medical health industry experience, she has treated a variety of disorders, including acute and chronic pain, arthritis, digestive issues, back pain, insomnia, anxiety, and depression, as well as stress-related illnesses.
