Q: Does my insurance company cover acupuncture?
It is your policy that determines if you have acupuncture coverage or not, not your provider. These insurance companies have covered our services in the past:

Q: How long will it take until I know whether or not I have coverage?
Once we receive your insurance information, our staff will verify your benefits, and you will be informed about the coverage under your plan within 72 hours.
Q: I have an HMO or no insurance plan at all. Can I make payments?
If you have an HMO plan with a deductible or no insurance plan at all, payment is due at the time the services is rendered. patients are responsible for any co-pay, co-insurance, and/or deductible.
Q: Is the Acupuncture Physicians Group considered in-network by my insurance company?
We are an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. We are in-network with Cigna.
Q: I have an HMO, Medicare, or Medicade policy. Will it cover acupuncture?
Unfortunately, HMO plans, Medicare, and Medicaid do not cover acupuncture services at this time. By switching from an HMO to a PPO insurance plan, you are able to see any doctor you choose without referrals.
Q: But I have a supplement to my Medicare policy. What about now?
Most Medicare supplements follow Medicare guidelines. There are a few that do and should be able to tell you right away if it may or not.
